We are all connected!

Common sense and the Law of Attraction are the foundation of my faith. At its simplest the Law of Attraction means that I treat others in a way I want them to treat myself. In general, people are trustworthy. However, it has also happened that someone has taken advantage of my gullibility and stupidity, but those occasions are a fraction of all occasions when people have proved to be trustworthy.

In essence people are definitely trustworthy, but from early childhood I have had a fundamental distrust towards people, who have a traditional bourgeois upbringing. It is due to the attitude people are holding: “Our sweethearts and the brats of the neighbour.”

People tend to see themselves and their offspring and reference group as righteous, innocent “God’s chosen ones.” Outsiders are deemed to be godless, infidels and pagans without any sense of morality or sub-human beings comparable to pigs and apes. People often have this kind of attitude and they completely disregard the fact, whether their loved ones actually harm other people. Sometimes harming other people is even encouraged, exactly because the others are outsiders.

Many years ago a friend of mine praised her relationship to her brother. She said that her brother would support and defend her, although she would have murdered someone. Often ‘defending’ means that people are ready to defend own people by any means necessary. In this process the truth and moral conceptions are thrown out of the window. People think that loyalty to own people demands this.

This thing raised in my mind some time ago when I read an article, which resented the fact that the Muslim neighbourhood in Brussels did not inform the police about the terrorist residing among them, although people knew he was behind the Paris massacre. After the nightclub attack in Orlando people found it disturbing that the wife of the attacker did not tell the police about the intentions of her husband, although she knew about them beforehand.

One can only wonder the double standards prevalent in the society. It is written in the law that spouses do not have to testify against each other. What makes this incident so different that the law should be interpreted in a different way than it is written? Is it because the attacker was an “outsider”?

Until now people in the West have been able to lull into their own illusions, enhancing their own individuality and freedom. If something bad happens many people think that it is a clear indication that God does not exist. If God would exist, He would not let anything bad happen. Despite the fact that people deem it very important that they can do own choices, they hope that our heavenly father would come and save them from the ultimate disaster.

On the voting day for Brexit I read an article where someone said that citizens should not be confronted with such difficult decisions like EU Membership. For thousand years people have trusted their government and it should be in that way also in the future. Things like fox hunting is in the scope of citizen’s understanding. They are able to decide about such things.

In their spiritual laziness people are ready to outsource thinking. It is so comfortable to lull into own illusions and believe the official truth, because to challenge everything could burst the illusory bubble people are living in.

G.K.Chesterton said: “When people stop believing in God, they believe in anything.” For this reason it is extremely easy to manipulate people. In people’s minds angels turn to demons and demons turn to angels very easily. This is why people easily buy such lies like the deception about World War II.

The former dean of Islamic Law at Qatar University, Abd Al-Hamid Al-Ansari says that he is not so afraid of the governments than of intellectuals and citizen’s organisations, who have a mindset of a herd and who preach the official truth and who tend to determine the framework of correct thinking. In this respect East and West are similar.

In principle the opinion of each individual has the same value. But I would hope that people would at least recognize the fact that a person, who gets information in several languages from all over the world, has a much wider horizon than a person, who reads mainly local news.

Common Sense as a Spiritual Goal

When people confront real challenges, like the uncontrollable immigration to Europe today many say: “We do NOT want this!” They think that the only solution for the problem is to deport all (economic) migrants to their home countries.

We must understand that what people want, is not necessarily what they need. Every one of us attracts him- or herself the lessons of life that we need to get forward. It often happens unconsciously, because God knows what we need before we even ask him. We create our own reality.

It is heartbreaking to see migrants vandalising in Europe. Nevertheless, in my view the challenges people are facing now is just what they need.

With they attitudes people themselves have attracted migrants, who question the fundamental values the western societies are built on. We see that life is a matter of life and death. People in the West must learn to defend their values. First they must learn, what are the fundamental values. The survival of our societies requires that we first recognize the values that make peaceful coexistence possible.

Until now western people have unconcerned been able to blaspheme God and consider the Bible as a fairytale. Believers, moralists and do-gooders have been labelled as Holy Rollers living in the past, whereas freethinkers, atheists, liberals, anarchists and nihilists present themselves as hope of the future.

People in the West have been sweeping the problems of the Third World far away by paying aid to developing countries. Today the migrants bring the problems of the developing countries among us. At the same time when migrants come to Europe and demand respect for their human rights, we can observe, how labile the world view of some western (human rights) activists is. This has led to ludicrous situations.

Feminists, who are supposed to defend the rights of women, do not do anything when it is a question of the rights of Muslim women. The police files the crimes committed by migrants to the Ø-folder (trash). The rights of own citizens are simply ignored, when there is so many unidentified “honorary citizens”, who demand their rights. Health care authorities have worked for decades to create a global vaccination program, and normally travellers have to take certain vaccinations, when they travel to certain parts of the world. Now some activists demand open-borders and free access for migrants to any country without any health checks or even without identity control.

Until now people in the West have been living in an illusion that all people in the world live according to common sense. The problems caused by uncontrollable immigration show us clearly that this is rather an exceptional mindset. Using common sense is alien to people with authoritarian upbringing or to people, who want to advance the interests of their own reference group. It seems that these people have not learnt to think by themselves. People demand double standards, “positive” discrimination and denial of the facts. As if persons could not face the same facts.

“Who benefits when people divide against each other?” asked a mainstream journalist. In the best case we all benefit from it. It is the civic duty of each individual to expose the grievances and corruption in a society. Our duty is to take care that the society treats all its members fairly.

Spiritually lazy people with herd mindset and people, who deny facts are like parents, who do not listen to their children, when they tell that they are sexually abused.

Jesus says:

[framed_box width=”” minheight=”” rounded=”true”]Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.
But do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28, 34-36)[/framed_box]

The sword Jesus is talking about is not a sword to eliminate other people, because “our fight is not with people. It is against the leaders and the powers and the spirits of darkness in this world. It is against the demon world that works in the heavens.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Jesus gave us a twoedged sword, the Spirit of Truth that is piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, ego (animal spirit) and Holy Ghost (common sense). (Hebrews 4:12) Before long we learn to use common sense, follow the Spirit of Truth.
